Picturing a breakfast table in Korea seems at first confusing, maybe layered or later simple. The physical and mental spatial separation or integration between what is public and what is private is well represented on a free breakfast table offered to I and others. 'private is public' is an installation piece addressing invisible physically yet prominently visible borders drawn to unite yet again disparate the private and public. The installation pieces <what is private> are mobile and immobile left for viewers <what is public> to openly interact with. It addresses the micro interdependencies of private and public spaces to further look at the direction of our current society in its border issues in its complex layers of inclusion and exclusion and all those wonderful words of blurry lines.
